PetPeepz Packaging

The objective of this project was to create three pieces of branded packaging, for dog or cat toys and treats, that would be sold in the United States and Canada (bearing both English and French translations). The company name assigned to the project was PetPeepz and it was hypothetically copyright so as to not require translation.

I chose to make packaging for dog toys and treats. The toys chosen include a tug toy and stuffed animal. During market research, I noted that most pet toys are displayed on hang cards. Thus, to make PetPeepz stand out, I designed the packaging to resemble the head of a dog (with eyes, nose and ears). This design was carried into the construction of the treat bag as well. The head of the dog acts as the opening flap that encloses the dog snacks. Additionally, the PetPeepz logo utilizes a bold and humanistic typeface to emphasize the playfulness of the brand.
