The owner of a Chicago-style hot dog food cart hired me to create a logo for his business. He requested that the logo include the Chicago flag and iconic buildings from the city skyline.
To meet these requirements I utilized the colors, red and blue, and stars of the city's flag while also incorporating gold to appeal more to the senses and how color affects appetite.
I chose two fonts that have a nostalgic and welcoming feel and presented the client with three versions of the logo.
