The challenge of this project was visualizing each individual panel as a whole spread - to figure out how each panel interacts with another in a cohesive way.
I had recently traveled to the Yucatan peninsula and visited the Mayan Ruins of Chichen Itza. The symmetry of the Pyramid of Kulkulkan provided an excellent transition between the outside and inside spread of the brochure - it allowed for a clean-cut, half division from outer panel to inner panel.
